CBN: Cannabinol

CBN, which stands for cannabinol, is a lesser known cannabinoid. In nature, CBN is found in aging cannabis plants and can increase the effect of THC when smoked. CBN is created when the THCa begins to degrade. By itself, CBN is responsible for producing a relaxing, sleepy effect. Steep Hill Labs has claimed that CBN causes a reduction in intraoclar pressure, making it potentially useful for treating glaucoma, with or without THC. Those suffering from insomnia, muscle spasms, and even ALS could find relief in CBN.
